Become a Teaching Academy Volunteer
Mode Music Teaching Academy is a teaching and mentorship program, sponsored by Mode Music Studios and partnered with Mode Music and Performing Arts’ music lesson scholarship program. It offers high school aged students the opportunity to complete volunteer and community service hours while using their talent to educate the next generation of musicians.
Students who sign up must be enrolled in private music instruction at Mode Music Studios, must be at least 15 years of age, and must have at least 3 years experience with the instrument they choose to teach.
The best way to learn is to teach another!
Student volunteers not only provide more access to creative arts for those in need, they also learn valuable lessons in planning, communication, and accountability skills. All of which makes them better musicians themselves!
