Ensuring all children can experience the arts through music and performance
Mission
Mode Music and Performing Arts is a nonprofit arts organization offering innovative arts education programs promoting confidence, social awareness, equity and empathy in our students and community.
Vision
Mode Music and Performing Arts (MMPA) envisions a future where children’s voices lead the way in creating a better community through art and expression. We seek to empower youth to thrive, fearlessly lead, and adapt to an ever-changing world.
What We Do
MMPA brings accessible arts education to Seattle’s kids, through school enrichment programs, group classes and camps at our classroom space in West Seattle, and private lesson scholarships for instruction at Mode Music Studios.
Providing access to music and performing arts education
Tiny Musicians
MMPA is happy to offer group classes for kiddos ages 0-4 years (suggested) with our Tiny Musicians program. We use both original tunes and the music of Caspar Babypants to encourage our littlest rockstars in singing, instrumentation, play and story time — all in one 45 min class!
Classes are offered Fridays and Saturdays from 10-10:45 and 11-11:45. Registration is open!
MMPA Group Classes
Winter Class Registration is now open!
MMPA offers pay-what-you-can after school group classes in fall, winter, and spring at our space in West Seattle! Classes range from Drama Club to Visual Arts to D&D Campaigns and more.

MMPA offer camps all summer, Monday through Friday, for kids aged K-8th grade.
2025 summer camps will run from June 23rd through August 29th. This year we are offering our standard Monday thru Friday week-long camps, with morning and afternoon options. We are also offering new camps for 6-8th graders this year! Middle school campers will meet two days a week in the afternoon for 4 weeks.
Curriculum includes everything from Dungeons and Dragons, to Ukulele 101, to Improv Workshop, and many more!
*Costs of all classes and camps are Pay-What-You-Can to keep music and theatre accessible to all in our community. Rock Band campers can sign up for the MMPA camp available during the afternoon of their Rock Band Camp week.
A teaching & mentorship program for high school aged students and their younger peers.
