Scholarship Spotlight: Harper
“Harper is an almost 6-year-old spunky little girl who has been singing since she started babbling. She absolutely loves to be the center of attention and thrives on this attention. Music has been part of her life since the womb, and she would rather listen to music and sing on her tablet than play games.
Harper has sung in front of strangers and encouraged others to be a part of her ‘band’ on her ‘stage’ with no fear. The joy on her face during and after her performances is so pure and fulfilling. When she sings, she usually dances along. When I ask her what she wants to be when she is older, she always tells me she wants to be a singer.”

Friendsgiving Fundraiser Gratitude
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our yearly fundraiser!
With your support, we were able to raise over $40,000 for music and arts education!
We had music from Mode bands Phluff and Velvet Photograph and finished off the night dancing with Mode teacher Ricky Hoyos' band Tio Nacho's House. Our hearts are full from all the love in the room. We are truly appreciative and are excited to be able to continue our scholarship program and work in Title I schools next session. Monthly Donation Tiers
$100/mo – $1,000 is the average cost of an 8 week school enrichment program in a Title I school that can serve up to 15 students!
Your gift of $100 a month allows us to offer these programs to the schools and students that need them most.
$50/mo - $500 is the average cost of a summer camp for 1 student.
Your gift of $50 a month allows us to provide full scholarships for education and childcare during the summer.
$25/mo – $250 is the average cost of an 8-week class session at MMPA.
Your gift of $25 a month allows us to offer sliding scale and full scholarships for our local community.
$10/mo - $100 would be put toward keeping our local West Seattle facility up and running!
Your gift of $10 a month allows us to provide a safe, clean space for our after-school programs and summer camps.

Make a Monthly Gift for Music Lesson Scholarships
Mode Music and Performing Arts recognized the lack of access to music lessons in our community, and created a scholarship program for private music instruction, in partnership with Mode Music Studios. This program helps students access lessons at Mode Music Studios in their chosen instrument.
Families with financial need can apply to receive a music lesson scholarship for students who are 18 and younger. Once available scholarship funds from MMPA are allocated for the student’s lessons, they can begin their musical journey at Mode Music Studios.
We currently have 20 students in our private lesson scholarship program, and we need your support to maintain these scholarships and provide new ones! If you want to help students achieve their musical dreams, donate to MMPA’s scholarship fund today.
A monthly gift to our scholarship fund shares the joy (and lifelong benefits) of music instruction with a student that wouldn’t otherwise have access.
Your monthly gift can be fully equivalent to one student's monthly lesson costs, or a portion of those costs. Monthly gift levels are detailed on the form. One-time gifts are welcome, too.
